Kopi Luwak is the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world.
Grown on the major Indonesian islands in very small quantities, it was first discovered by the most refined Japanese consumers and it later spread to Europe and the USA.
The ripest and tastiest beans are first digested and subsequently excreted by a small marsupial, belonging to the civet family (locally called "Luwak"). During digestion, the gastric juices create a fermentation process that is absolutely unique among all coffees, resulting in a coffee with a totally original flavor.
Full-bodied and smooth, it tastes of aromatic herbs and bitter orange marmalade. It is dense with a long-lasting aftertaste.
The coffee we offer comes with a certificate that guarantees its absolute authenticity (beware of counterfeits!), and a certificate of clinical analyses guaranteeing the high-quality of this product.
